(7th percentile for weight and 75th percentile for height)
A few days after Bryn's 5th month birthday she learned how to sit. It's crazy how fast this kid picks things up... One second she can't sit up; the next thing you know she's sitting on her own. One second your drink is safe; the next second it's in Bryn's hand (she's VERY good at quickly grabbing things on the first try).
Bryn's sixth month has definitely been the most eventful. She went on her first road trip (to Koosharem) and flew for the first time (to California for a Miyagishima reunion).
People first notice Bryn because of her vibrant hair, and then once they start watching her they are shocked because she's unlike most 6 month olds... Bryn actually plays with toys. She'll even do some yoga moves and put her head on the ground to grab one.
My mom and I have been trying to get Bryn to reach for us, and she never has. The first person Bryn reached for was big sis, Maiki. She saw her coming, grinned, and reached out to touch her face.
Bryn still enjoys sucking her thumb/fingers, but not as much as before. She loves to hold hands, especially while you are feeding her. This month she tried out a highchair (she's still a bit too little), and her new favorite hobbies are playing with her feet and chewing on fabric. I don't know why, but this kid LOVES to chew on fabric.
Bryn's favorite toy is her monkey.
Bryn attended her first birthday party! She got to wish Dylan happy birthday at Three Little Monkey's. Hailey and Oliver are only three months older than Bryn; our three little monkeys are so cute! (There are better pictures of Hailey in the post about the birthday party.)
When Maiki was 6 months old she got to meet Truman!
