Valentine's Day Came Early

Chris,
Thanks for being such an awesome husband and dad. Maiki and I came home to these beautiful arrangements (that Chris put together himself).

My favorite is the rose that Chris drew. :)

I love how Valentine's is now for ALL the ladies,
even the two year olds.

We hope that everyone has a special Valentine's Day this year!!!

Sleeping on the Job

Chris and I took Slone to go and see Underworld the other day, and Uncle Dave was nice enough to volunteer to babysit.

Lip Synching

I hate to admit this, but we spend a lot of time in the car. Luckily, Maiki is quite the little trooper and travels well.

(Confession: when alone in the car I loudly sing along to the music.) I guess my singing is as bad as I thought because Maiki keeps telling me to STOP, and then she will loudly shush me.

For those of you that don't know, Maiki is our dancing girl. She has some of the best moves I've ever seen. (And, I've seen a lot of drunk dancers that are pretty impressive.) The other day Maiki and I were rocking out in the car; I checked her out in my rear view mirror and Maiki was lip synching to J-Kwon (that one song that sounds a lot like Prince). It was sooooo cute!!! I hope I get it on video tape.

She did it!

We weren't planning on potty training until Spring Break, but Maiki has prompted us to start early. We bought her a cute little toilet seat w/Elmo and she loves pretending to go. This January she went pee-pee on the potty at least three times!!!

Dinner at Market Street

For those of you that don't know. . . we are HUGE fans of Market Street. If you join their frequent diner club you get a buy one get one free coupon for your birthday every year! It took nearly a month, but we finally found the time to go and celebrate Chris' b-day. As you can see from the pictures Maiki loved the bread.

The picture of me and my mom was taken by Maiki!
