Lagoon 2011, Trip #1

We got season passes to Lagoon!!! Last year we bought passes and then found out I was pregnant with Bryn, so I wasn't be able to go on any of the rides. This year I can, but we have to take turns since someone has to watch the baby. :)

11th Anniversary

Camp Champ Basketball

Syracuse City wouldn't let Maiki sign up for soccer because she's not going to kindergarten next year. Seriously, who cares!?! Four is four! Because Maiki couldn't participate in our area we signed her up for Kaysville City's Camp Champ. This is an awesome program for four year olds. They have two weeks of basketball, two weeks of t-ball, and two weeks of soccer. It's only $50, and they get a ball with every sport, plus an amazing green t-shirt.

Maiki has loved hanging out with one of her best friends, Mikade. Krissy-Thanks for talking us into trying this with you. :)

SHS 2011 Carnival

The Tiny Titans Daycare has a preschool graduation each year, which is preceded w/a performance by all the three and four year olds. Maiki isn't old enough to be in the preschool yet, but she performed and then celebrated at the post graduation carnival.

Mother's Day 2011

My mom and brothers came over for an amazing Mother's Day meal. Chris spoiled us rotten with mouth watering ribs, a delicious salad, fresh fruit, and Maiki even made juice popsicles with fresh strawberries. (Maiki's favorite thing was her Shirley Temple.)


Maiki wrapped the gifts herself! She chose Christmas paper and Easter stickers...

Bryn's 3rd Month

Bryn loves to smile, stand up, chew her fingers, and she's just starting to roll over. (She likes to roll 3/4 of the way and then roll back.)

Bryn was been a little bit sick this month. :( She was sleeping like a champ and only getting up once (or twice), but once she got a stuffy noise she didn't sleep well. Luckily, she's still a happy little thing. We also discovered that when Bryn is tired she wants to be left alone. Most babies want to snuggle... not Bryn, she wants you to lay her down and let her be.

Bryn really is a perfect, little baby. She's so pretty that a number of strangers make us stop, so they can admire her cute face and look at her awesome fauxhawk. Unfortunately, she's starting to get a bald spot in the back, but at least the top is long enough that it hides most of it.

On Bryn's 3rd month birthday we went to The Oaks, in Ogden Canyon. It's amazing how high the river is!!! We hope it doesn't flood like it did in '83.




This month Bryn and Maiki spent a lot of time together. Maiki LOVES that she can finally play with Bryn and she no longer freaks out. Maiki got all of her special dolls from Great Grandma Tess (who recently passed away), and lined them up so that we could take their picture. :)
