I'm a Mall Walker!?!

School finally ended and I've been trying to figure out what to do with all of my free time (other than golfing on Mondays). Maiki and I get up early to meet Grandpa Kaz at the Layton Hills Mall at 7am. We walk just over a mile, then Maiki plays in the playland. All the old ladies LOVE seeing Maiki, and Maiki loves waving and smiling at them.

18 Month Pics

Happy Mother's Day!


It's hard to choose a few pictures to highlight Maiki's 18 month, but I set a personal goal to keep it under 10. For those of you that like to look at more pictures they are on the kodak site.


As you can see Maiki is a very loving kid. She enjoys talking, shushing, clapping, kicking, climbing, waving, eating, and playing. We can't wait to see what she's going to be doing next month.

Maiki went to the doctor this afternoon, and is extremely healthy!!!
Here are her stats:
-Height 30.5 inches (25th percentile)
-Weight 18 pounds 14 ounces (below the chart, but close to it)
-Head circ. 18.5 inches (50th percentile)

Uncle AJ's B-day

We had a family get together for Uncle AJ's birthday on Sunday. It was nice to see Johanna's new house, and to hang out in the sweet clubhouse.

Maiki's 1st Trip to the Zoo

On April 3rd we went to the Hogle Zoo. Maiki doesn't really like animals very much, but she still had a great time.

Kate's Graduation

Chris' baby sister graduated from Utah State today. Kate now has a Master's in Speech Pathology. Congrats Kate!!!















Most of Chris' family came to town. Unfortunately, we didn't have time off work, so we missed commencement (but we made it to the family dinner at Hamilton's). Thanks for dinner Tony! It was nummy.
